ChordGenie has been developed to provide a comprehensive musicians tool for your mobile phone. This simple to use Java application allows you to find chords quickly and easily for your instrument. ChordGenie combines a chord reference, tuner** and metronome** in a single application.

Specifically designed to be easy to use, ChordGenie includes many innovative features including the ability to display any chord in any tuning and a unique Songbook feature, allowing you to 'bookmark' chords for easy reference.

Once installed, ChordGenie does NOT require an internet connection as all chords are generated on your phone by ChordGenie's i-Chord technology.

ChordGenie is unique in that it can look up any chord in any standard or alternate tuning of your choice over a full 12 fret range.
. i-Chord technology
ChordGenie is able to find any chord in any position on the fretboard, even if you are using a non-standard tuning. This technology has been developed using a technique that actually models the way the human hand plays notes on a fretboard. Each time you select a chord, ChordGenie's "virtual hand" moves over the notes on the fretboard to pick out a range of playable fingerings to suit all ability levels.

This innovative feature provides a quick and easy way to 'bookmark' chords that you are learning for any particular song. You can define the songs you are currently working on and add specific chords to each song.
. Supports many fretted instruments
Including guitar, banjo, ukulele, mandolin and tenor guitar. You can easily configure the tuning to the instrument of your choice.
. Chord Navigator
The Chord Navigator enables you to quickly find the chord you are looking for visually with the minimum number of key presses. You can also browse through the chords in sequence in the Chord Browser.
. Illustrated fingerings
Each chord is clearly illustrated showing a suggested fingering. The screen also shows the actual notes of the chord.
